Anna Rokofyllou is the Vice Mayor for Equality Policies, Anti-Discrimination and Gender Violence, responsible for the Department of Equality and Anti-Discrimination Policies of the Division of Social Solidarity, as well as the Shelter for Women Victims of Violence and their children. When the Vice Mayor for Equality Policies, Anti-Discrimination and Gender Violence is absent or indisposed, she is substituted by Vice Mayor Ms. Ekaterini Dimitriadou-Gagaki.

Anna Rokofyllou was born and studied in Athens. She is a lawyer with master’s degrees from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of Paris-Sud 11, with a wide range of experience both within and outside the Greek borders. She has repeatedly represented Greece before the European Court of Justice, as a legal advisor and expert of Community Law at the Special Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her career in Local Government began in 1994 as a District Councillor in the 1st District of Athens, she was Municipal Councillor from 1998 until 2010 when she was elected Regional Councillor of Attica, where she served as Executive Director of Tourism. She was an elected and active member of the Board of Directors of Central Union of Municipalities of Greece (KEDE) from 2007 to 2012, Chair of the KEDE Equality Committee as well as a member of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. She is married to the businessman Spilios Manias and has a 17-year-old son.
