Tuesday, 1 September, 2015 - Sunday, 10 January, 2016Εvery Friday night, Museum visitors have the opportunity to participate in a journey to the sanctuary of the Great Gods of Samothrace and the sanctuary of Athena on the Acropolis. They will discover these two spaces, their divine protagonists, the myths, the rituals, the presence and aspirations of their ancient visitors, through archaeological finds, landscapes and sounds.
On October 6, 2014, a symposium titled "documenta 14, Kassel: Learning from Athens" was held at Kunsthochschule (Academy of Fine Arts) in Kassel, Germany, at the invitation of the academy. Organized by the team of documenta 14, and led by Artistic Director Adam Szymczyk, the symposium presented key members of the next documenta organization, as well as discussed essential ideas and thematic concerns of the exhibition project as a whole, scheduled to take place in 2017.
The Athens and Epidaurus Festival 2015 is celebrating its sixtieth of many creative years as a living entity which converses with society and continues to be active while at the same time undergoing change.The theatre has a dynamic presence this year, with important foreign invitees as well as Greek productions by established and younger artists.

This summer Badminton Theater, one of the most prestigious theaters in Greece, offers its visitors the opportunity to experience Euripides Electra, a masterpiece of ancient drama in a new and phenomenal production maintaining the integrity of the classic theatrical format in 21st century Theater.
