As a result of the high attendance from school groups and the commitment to its dynamic role in the area of education, the Herakleidon Museum in Athens, Greece has decided to proceed with the extension of the exhibition "Sol LeWitt, LINE AND COLOR" until March 18th 2012. The uniqueness and originality of the educational program "ART AND MATHEMATICS" which has been in place since 2005, uses the works of Sol LeWitt and other renowned artists as an educational tool to inspire young minds and assist in the comprehension of mathematics. After the completion of the exhibition, the "ART AND MATHEMATICS" Educational Program will continue based on the works of V.Vasarely and M.C. Escher from the Museum's permanent collections.
