Pagrati Woods

The Athens City Council has approved a proposal for the Regeneration and Rejuvenation of Pagrati Woods. The Pangrati Woods, an integral element of the city's history, once served as the local green space. There, a small cafe operated and the "Elefthero Theatre" (Free Theatre) staged unforgettable performances at a little theatre.

Apart from enhancing greenery, the proposal also seeks to revive the old theatre (without cutting down a single tree), which was embraced by Greek Theatre as a whole.

For this reason we will soon create:

Outdoor theatre-cinema venues

  • A cafeteria
  • Restroom facilities

Also, there are plans for lighting installation, walkways, benches, sports facilities and a children's playground, while a fence will be erected to help safeguard the Park.
