European Junior Tae Kwon Do Championship
Volunteers Invitation
The City of Athens Culture, Sports and Youth Organization (OPANDA) and the Greek Union of Tae Kwon Do, organize the European Junior Tae Kwon Do Championship in the "Panagiotis Gazkas" stadium, in Mets, from the 11th to 17th of June 2012, sponsored by the General Secretariat of Sports.
Thirty eight to forty countries are expected to participate in the event and more than 3.000 "sports tourist" (athletes, attendants, parents and friends) will visit our country and they will all stay approximately seven to eight days in order to take part or simply observe the European Junior Tae Kwon Do Championship.
The volunteers will have the opportunity to get involved in many fields during the preparation and the conduct of the championship.
The volunteers will be provided with valuable educational material, accrediting, uniform, as well as a certification of participation.
Applications will be accepted until Friday the 25th of May 2012.
