24-11-2009: “Cities of Athens, Shanghai sign Friendship and Cooperation Memorandum”

Athens Mayor Nikitas Kaklamanis and Shanghai Communist
Party of China Municipal Committee Deputy Secretary Yin Yicui, representing
Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng, today signed a Memorandum of Friendship and
Cooperation at Athens City Hall between the City of Athens
and the City of Shanghai
in the fields of Culture, Sport, Tourism and the Environment.




A meeting was held earlier between the Shanghai
delegation and a City of Athens delegation
comprising City of Athens Youth
and Sport Organisation chairman Vassilis Kikilias, Athens Tourism and Economic
Development Company (ATEDCO) chairman Ekaterini Katsabe and ATEDCO managing
director Panagiotis Arkoumaneas.
