Athens International Dance Festival, organised by the Cultural Organisation of the City of Athens, is continuing strong this year and once again will leave its mark on the cultural life of the capital.

As always this year's 8th International Festival will be hosted in the courtyard of City of Athens "Technopolis" (Piraeus 100, Gazi) from July 1 to July 18. The festival will present some of the best dance groups in Europe, once again aiming to emphasize the fact that modern dance attracts a larger audience today as it has shaken off the techniques and principles of academic dance and attitudes that inspired the classic ballet.
