A permanent exhibition focusing on Elaionas and the Votanikos-Alexandras Avenue twin urban regeneration project was launched on May 12, 2009.

The exhibition features photographs, designs and videos depicting:
  • The development of the Elaionas locality in historical and town-planning terms
  • The actual situation in the area of Elaionas, which falls under City of Athens administration, the planning design which is already being implemented and the projects that have been undertaken by the Municipal Authority
  • The Votanikos-Alexandras Avenue Twin Urban Regeneration project is presented at the end

The subject of childhood is one that interests, as is well known, all scientific fields which study man (medicine, psychiatry, psychology, social sciences etc.).

It is undoubtedly an attractive subject, mostly for the reason that there is a point of reference in our adult life. We all carry memories, images, pieces from all the interactions of that time, that in the end stigmatize the rest of our lives.

The candidate that will represent Greece in the 10th European Jazz Festival in Athens, organized by City of Athens "Technopolis" from May 25 to 29, 2010, will be selected by a four-member committee that consists of: Yiorgos Katsaros (City of Athens Music Ensembles chairman), Yiannis Terezakis (City of Athens Big Band conductor), Yiorgos Haronitis (Jazz & Jazz magazine editor) and Pantazis Tsaras (music producer).

Those interested can submit their applications and enclose a CV and a CD or demo of their work from Monday, February 8 to Wednesday, March 31, 2010 to: City of Athens "Technopolis", 100 Pireos St, Post Code 118 54, Athens, marked "To participate in the 10th European Jazz Festival.

The composer and singer Pashalis Tonios in a tribute to our folk love-songs which were his first contact with music.

Many great folk Greek composers will be heard, such as Hatzidakis, Tsitsanis, Kaldaras, Zabetas, Panou, etc.

The theatrical group "Art" is presenting a one-act anthology play entitled "Belle Reve" that evolves around the life of Tennessee Williams, from February 1 to early March, every Monday and Tuesday. The play is presented with the support of the City of Athens "Technopolis".

The controversial figure of the American playwright becomes a source of inspiration for the group "Art", founded in 2009 and consisting of young actors that will come in contact with an audience for the first time to claim a place in modern theatre reality. The group consists of actors: Roberta Vega, Mary Kalfa, Giorgos Kapiniaris, Nelly Bofilou, Ergina Papadaki, Yiannis Piliouras and Yiannis Soulakis.
