Opening: Tuesday 2 February 2010, time 19:30 10th European Jazz Festival at “Technopolis”: Selection of Greek representative 08/02/2010 - 31/03/2010 The candidate that will represent Greece in the 10th European Jazz Festival in Athens, organized by City of Athens "Technopolis" from May 25 to 29, 2010, will be selected by a four-member committee that consists of: Yiorgos Katsaros (City of Athens Music Ensembles chairman), Yiannis Terezakis (City of Athens Big Band conductor), Yiorgos Haronitis (Jazz & Jazz magazine editor) and Pantazis Tsaras (music producer). Eleana Vrahalis’ “Ellipses...” book launch and concert 10/02/2010 - 20:00 The first book written by renowned songwriter Eleana Vrahalis entitled "Ellipses...", by Eleftheroudakis publications, will officially be launched through a concert with famous Greek singers. The event is organized by "Technopolis" and the 3rd City District of the City of Athens. Singers Tania Tsanaklidou, Mihalis Hatzigiannis, Hristos Dantis, Peggy Zina, Eleni Peta, Zoi Papadopoulou and Aspasia Theofilou will perform their greatest hits, which include lyrics written by the young author.
