The dumping of old furniture and mattresses in the street is an all too frequent sight, creating a source of pollution and traffic problems. There is a simple way to deal with this problem which is indicative of our civility.
A simple phonecall to the waste management service in our local City District, the Waste Management Department (telephone 1960) or the Citizens Helpline (telephone 1595) is all that is needed. A time is arranged for the collection of large items of waste.
