Children of women victims of violence

Since 1993 the City of Athens has been operating a Shelter for Abused Women.

The Shelter hosts women victims of violence (within our outside marriage) together with their children, providing protection, safety, psychological and social support.

Beyond providing immediate assistance, the Shelter aims to prevent further deterioration of a situation which could lead to more serious consequences for the women and their children.
